This course introduces IPSC Shotgun, Mini Rifle, LBP, or Action Air, covering the core fundamentals of safety, range commands, and course navigation. It is ideal for beginners or those with limited dynamic shooting experience.
You will be assessed by a qualified IPSC Safety Instructor, and upon completion will receive one of the following outcomes:
For Centaur Club members, this course forms part of the initial induction. If a Competition Licence is required, it can be issued upon completion for a small administrative fee to cover UKPSA Requirements.

Safe handling and unbagging procedures for firearms at the range
Common firearm malfunctions and safe corrective actions
Determining eye dominance and establishing a stable shooting stance
Correct trigger finger placement and safe movement on the range
Range commands and stage procedures
Different start positions and how to practise them effectively
Fundamental firearm reloading techniques
Integrated learned skills exercise, combining techniques under light time pressure
