Introducing you to the world of Practical Shooting
Introducing newcomers to a sport that is fun, engaging and full of challenges.
Centaur Sporting Academy works with its partnered ranges, to enable them to offer bespoke and new practical shooting experiences.
Experiences are conducted in a safe controlled manner by experienced personable individuals, so that you come away feeling energised and excited to take on a challenge.
These are further divided into Experience sessions for individuals and corporate or private bookings.

Try Practical shooting!
Experience practical shooting in real time at one of our partnered range facilities.
You will be able to shoot the following:
- Section 2 Semi Auto and pump action shotguns (3shot)
- .22 Semi Automatic AR Style Rifle
- Gas powered handguns and rifles

Do something different for your group
If you are looking to take your team or group out for a different, challenging and above all fun experience, please get in touch to discuss your location and requirements further.
We can arrange to cater from small to large parties at one of our partnered range venues.
How much does it cost for an experience?
The cost varies from range to range and the amount of time required.
Notifications will be sent out with cost in the future to specific ranges.

How long does it take?
An experience for 2 people usually lasts 2 - 3 hours.
How many people can be booked on corporate or private experiences?
Experiences are usually one to two people.
Corporates - We can cater from six people to twelve currently. We can arrange bespoke parties.
I have a disability, can i attend?
Absolutley you can!
We make every adjustment we can to make sure people have fun no matter their background or abilities.
Do you offer discounts for under 18s?
Yes we do!
We want to encourage new people into the sport and can now offer discounts on course costs to help support the parents who fund everything.
Do i need a licence to shoot a rifle or shotgun?
No.
Yes you can shoot a .22 rifle, or a section 2 shotgun under certain circumstances.
There are certain regulations and forms to complete to comply with UK legislation, along with suitable ID checks which will be made before you are allowed to handle a firearm under supervision of one of our Range Officers.
